We live our lives on the battleground between God on the one hand and the devil on the other.

We live between the clash of two kingdoms and by looking at the history of warfare we know it takes more than a battle

to take a nation.

We have the opportunity to become a spiritual warrior fighting from the total majesty and the absolute

certainty of God's unchanging nature. Warfare can be an unrelenting attrition, both in public and in private, where intimidation is the normal

tactic of the that we have with the nature of God.

In these days we're seeing the emergence of relational power with God that is evident in our thinking and our Thanksgiving in who God is in himself. And this cohabitational space with Jesus

empowers us to have the same energy, zeal, and the same power that was present in David's mighty men.

It is in intimacy where men and women settle the question of what God is really, really like.

They're seeking to put on a new persona, a mindset, and a faith that enables them to fully engage with God at this level of

warfare. Spiritual warriors are people who confidently make choices about where and how to focus their internal

attention so that they live from the inside to the outside and confidence is their

hallmark they move from the inner man of the spirit through the outer man of the soul to touch the world around them.

You know and despite external realities that are adverse chaotic and often troublesome and annoying

spiritual warriors live in a state of untrouble calm.

They live in rest by which they are bound to the inner life of

the spirit. They know that part of their inheritance in their

confidence in him. They realize that all the promises of God are to enable them

to be inspired in their dependence and reliance upon him.

So through all the circumstances of life,

we realize God is training us for reigning, training us for reigning as new creations.
