Summary

(Psalm 147:1, 20) As we walk through Psalm 147 we learn that the greatest witness is praise. Witnessing is simply praising God to others, and there is nothing more attractive than a joyful Christian. Take the challenge to share God’s goodness with someone this week. (09283251124) Join our study through Scripture this year. and they are referred to as the Hallelujah Psalms. They are the original Hallelujah Chorus,

1:23.3

because every one of them begins and ends the same way.

1:29.6

It begins with praise you the Lord.

1:33.2

Literally, it begins and ends with hallelujah.

That's pretty good bookends, I would say.

See, when you start and end with praise,

you can be sure that everything in between is going to know the presence of God. And so let me recommend to you, begin and end every day in the presence of God. Now, we've studied the first of those

Psalms, Psalm 146. We learned something about the connection between praise and faith, that it is

1:57.9

built on faith. It is the outgrowth, the expression, the demonstration of real

faith in God. So you believe the Lord, and as you believe him, you choose to praise the Lord.

Now we turn our attention to Psalm 147. It begins this way, praise ye the Lord, for it is good
