Hey there, BKFK kids.

Today's story is all about a beautiful old saying.

A bird does not sing because it has an answer.

It sings because it has a song.

It teaches us that some of the very best things in life,

like music, art, playing and dancing,

don't need to have a job, a hidden answer,

or a serious reason to exist.

They are wonderful just because they bring us joy.

The Groovy crystal.

It had been a very wet morning for Sir Chackle Nugget.

The night had spent three hours wrestling a slobber-mouth swamp squid in the deepest, muddiest part of the Sludgebrook swamp.

Of course, he had defeated it, protecting Snagleton from yet another menacing monster.

Now covered in green slime and smelling like a wet dog, the knight was trudging home.

Suddenly, his metal boot hit something hard.

The knight commanded the mud.

Identify yourself.

He reached down into the muck and pulled out an object.

It was a crystal about the size of a small melon. It was glowing with a soft, pulsing, pink light.

But the strangest thing about it was the texture, the way it felt.
