Allender Center, about grief and loss in the wake of miscarriages and infertility.

Dan and Jeanette are joined again by their partners,

Becky Allender and Campbell White, to talk about how they have learned and grown in the years

since these experiences. What we find is that even decades and decades later, it is never too

late to process our stories in the hope of healing. This is a vital and vulnerable conversation.

And we are so grateful to Jeanette, Campbell, and Becky for joining Dan to share their experiences with all of us.

Well, we're back for a second time with Campbell, Jeanette, Becky, and me talking about some of the effects of living

with tragedy and trauma that's just ongoing that goes on for years, and particularly with

regard to the topic of miscarriage and infertility. And so where we left off was that question

of, what did you find helpful?

I mean, the fact that you came back up, that you two engaged this conversation where, Jeanette, you felt like, all right, now that you're back up here, what am I supposed to do?

Because you're not, you're still not putting words to what you're experiencing.

And yet you've come back face to face. You've come back together. And I know you can't round

this up in a nice tidy bow because it's an ongoing struggle. I mean, the fact that the two

of you talked about this before and felt some of the same

reenactments, same pain, same failure, I would say it's the same for us on several walks.

I mean, I heard data that I either did not recall or had not heard before.

So even many decades later, you're going to have more to work through.

So there's no assumption here that there's three or four things you need to do to address this.

Two or three things you need to say to somebody as a couple who are going through this.
