Excited about this show, we're going to do a lot of, we're going to really focus on energy today, some real basic parts of energy.

What I really want to start with first is we hear so much now about the electrical grid.

Data centers are going to overwhelm the electric grid.

Well, let's first talk about what is an electric grid, what does it need? Electro grid is how you receive your electric grid. Well, let's first talk about what is an electric grid? What does it need?

Electro grid is how you receive your electricity. And I would actually argue that it's probably

the most complex machine humanities ever created. I think it's the number one thing we do as human

beings. I think the people pretty much factual, what they're dealing

with now with renewables and batteries, which don't work.

They're intermittent, which is a very fancy way of going.

When the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow, They do not give power onto the grid.

A battery only lasts four hours.

I'll even tell you, some batteries can last eight hours and people go, batteries are the

answer?

No, they're not.

They run out quickly.

You have no way to dispose of lethal toxic waste from a battery energy storage system at grid scale,

which is referred to as BESS, the acronym, that's BES.

Texas has a lot of them.

California has a lot of them.

They can catch on fire quickly.
