Welcome aboard and thank you for joining Peace Through Strength, America's Navy.

I'm your host, Lieutenant Commander Stephen Rogers, United States Navy retired.

And presently the Executive Director of the Association of the United States Navy.

Now, we're a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting U.S.

Naval and U.S. Coast Guard power and operations, as well as, and this is very, very important, not only just the personnel that are serving in the Navy and the Coast Guard, but also their family members.

Our spouses, our children, we're all in one big family when it comes to the Navy and the Coast Guard and

those who are serving our entire country worldwide.

I never leave the other branches of the military out of a lot of the things that I say,

because, as I said, we're all one family.

We have different missions, different goals and different objectives, except for one

goal and one objective, and that's to continue to preserve freedom and liberty not only here

in the United States of America, but around the world. The topics addressed on this program

reflect only the perspectives presented by the Association of the United

States Navy. We speak for ourselves. I speak for myself and for no one else. And I represent

this organization. What a commitment and dedication to support our Navy, to support our Coast Guard.

In fact, to support all of our armed forces,

the men and women who have served since the founding of this country.

I think they did a pretty good job way back then, and I think and believe with all my heart,

we're doing a pretty good job today in fulfilling the mission that God gave us to protect, to preserve, and to defend the Constitution

of the United States of America, as well as the freedoms that we enjoy today.

So today I want to highlight a topic that has been overlooked for far too long, as far as I'm concerned,

and deserves greater attention and appreciation from the American people.
