In the 1100s, two mysterious children appeared near the English village of Wulpit.

They were strangely dressed. They didn't speak English. They refused to eat the foods offered

to them. And most strangely, they had green skin. The green children of Wulpit have fascinated

people down through the centuries. Some have proposed that they were fairies, aliens from another

world, humans from a parallel world, or inhabitants of an underground civilization.

Who were the green children of Wulpit? Where did they come from and what explains their green

skin? That's what we'll be talking about on this episode of Jimmy Akin's mysterious world.

So Jimmy, let's start with where today's mysterious set? Where is Wulpit?

It's a village in the English County of East Anglia, which is region in the east of England.

Specifically, Wulpit is in the East Angliaan County of Suffolk in the south east of England.

It's on the east coast of Britain, on the English channel that separates the island of Great Britain

from Europe. And it's down in the south, though it's still north of London. I'm almost everything
