But on this episode, we're talking about P.T. Barnum. Many people think of him as the circus man or the character that Hugh Jackman played in a

musical. Well, we're here to remind you that PT Barnum was a man who existed before the Civil

War in America. And what people found entertaining before the Civil War in America are now

considered crimes, horrific crimes, some that may induce nightmares to younger children.

sees this just because of the graphic nature of some of the content that we cover

No, nine songs, all of which were millennial stomp-wook, musical, suspender slapping. Yeah. Boot-tapping. Yeah, a lot of that. All of that. A little bit of that. A little bit of that. Hugh Jackman with a weird filter at one point on his face because they were trying to make Hugh Jackman look 20. He wasn't young. He was old then. He doesn't even have Wolverine powers. He's still old now. He's old now. Older than ever., and Zach Efron showing up. Yep.

That wasn't great.

The only good part was the bartender.

Anyway, why did I have to watch the great, an hour and 45 minute musical with only nine songs?

Oh, oh, because I wanted to do an episode on P.T. Barnum, and I wanted you to be prepared. I wanted you to understand the lore.

There was no prepared. I could feel the whole time I was watching that, I was like, I don't think that's right. I don't know when this is even supposed to be set.

They were just like, it's the 1800s in New York. And I'm like, but when in the 1800s?

The 1800s is a very vibrant and violent time.

I'm pretty sure this movie took place during gangs of New York times.

But instead, it felt very much like I was at a millennial burger joint watching people go,

oh, but this lady has a beard.

Oh, but we have two-string French fries out of a metal cup.
