Well, we've dug in to John Chapter 14.

As I mentioned a few episodes back, John 14, 14, 15, 15, and 16 are some of my favorite chapters

among the Gospels because of the

cause of what Jesus is teaching. I mean, it's a long section, it's three full chapters of just Jesus speaking to his disciples.

And the situation they were in is very much like our own.

They were in a great time of need,

and they were about to experience a prolonged period of time

without Jesus with them.

And he's preparing them.

And man, I feel like we could really use that

right now let's set the context for where we're at Jesus has just told them

he's going to prepare a place for them in heaven and he says if I go to prepare a place for them in heaven.
