mindset. I'm so thankful you have taken the time to listen to this

episode and I don't say that lightly. I know there's lots of things you could be

listening to, lots of things you could be doing with your time right now. I appreciate

that you're listening to this and not just as a stroke to my ego to make me feel good. I appreciate it because you are

taking time to get your mind aligned with the truth of God and that matters.

That matters for your life. that matters for the world.

We have started digging into the Gospel of John, Chapter 14.

And three episodes in, it's already very encouraging to me if you haven't heard the

first three episodes on this series on John chapter 14 I encourage you to go back

three days and see how we began this because the context is very important.

Now let's pick up where we left off. Jesus has just told his disciples that he is going to be leaving them and he is trying to console them.

He actually starts this part of the conversation by saying, don't let your hearts be troubled.

You see, because apparently he could see the grief on their face. He knew that

there was concern about what was to come and how things were going to shake out. And he tells

them, I'm going to prepare a place for you so that when I come again I can take

you to myself and where I am you will be also.
