Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your

mind aligned with the truth of God's Word. We're looking at the Gospel of John. We're

in chapter 1 verses 6 through 9. So if you have a Bible, grab it. We're going to dive

right into the story in just a moment. But I want you to think about those guys and

gals you see on TV or radio, maybe on a news show, who are announcing things. What

is their role? What is it they're actually trying to accomplish that has to do with

what we're going to study in John chapter 1 today? Before we get started, I want to

ask you if you need a little bit of a boost or an encouragement or maybe some fresh ideas

to those announcers and TV personalities. You know, the announcer themselves are really

not the main event, are they? Their job is to tell people about something else, right?

So a newscaster, he's really supposed to profile the news and announce her on some sort

of show. She's really supposed to highlight the person she's introducing. And that is

what we're going to find today in John chapter 1 is John introduces us to the person

I would consider to be the greatest announcer in all of history. Let's read it together.

It says, there was a man sent from God whose name was John. Now let's stop and clarify

a few things here. First off, notice he sent from God. So this announcer is one of the most

important announcers ever because God himself sent him and his name was John. Now this
