Look with me again this evening to 1 Timothy, the 6th chapter.

For those of you that haven't been with us, this is one of our

special meetings we have in the year.

We call it our greater faith.

Because in God there's always more, always up, higher, further. And faith is connected to that.

Things are not just all up to God. We have a significant part, responsibility in what happens in our lives.

And just because something is the will of God and the plan of God,

that does not mean it is going to happen in your life.

A lot of folks don't believe that, but put your nose in the book.

Right?

And one thing we have been looking at where faith is concerned is that there is more to faith

than believing.

We saw last night, James' second second chapter there's demon faith

I don't want no demon faith

how about you there's dead faith

neither of those gets results and yet it's a form of believing.

But it's believing that has no action, no expression, no doing.

Living faith acts.

We saw in the first night where the children of Israel facing the Red Sea and Pharaoh and his troops coming down the back and they're crying and carrying on and the Lord said, quit crying and move.

Wonder if that still applies today.

Quick crying, quit blubbering

Quit wasting clean axes
