Go with me to 1 Corinthians 10 please again this evening.

Scriptures we've looked at throughout the week, and if you haven't been with us on previous nights,

we'd recommend that you hear the previous messages, because we're building on that tonight, each night built on the previous.

In 1 Corinthians, the 10th chapter. each night built on the previous.

In 1 Corinthians, the 10th chapter, and the fifth verse,

talking about the first generation of Israelites that God brought out of Egyptian bondage there with the plan to take them into the

promised land.

Says, but with many of them, God

was not well pleased.

For they were overthrown

in the wilderness.

Verse six, now these

things were our

examples.

More than that's clearer to me than it's ever been.

We must not look at these passages like we've been reading in numbers, 12, 13, 14, 14, 15,

those accounts in Deuteronomy of their trek out of Egyptian bondage and in the wilderness

and then eventually into the promised land. We must not look at those things as history only.

They apply to us directly today. There are amazing answers here. Oh, somebody say glory to God.

Said out loud, what happened to them, good and bad, is an example for me. Right now.

Now, you know, some people will say, oh, no, brother Keith, you know, you need to stay

out of the Old Testament.
