It rumbles on. It rumbles on the black cab versus Uber. Uber just sit back and say nothing.

Black cab drivers, not everybody, not everybody, but a few of them, absolutely hate them.

But then again, it's competition. I suppose,

you know, I'd be hating it if they sort of opened up another speech radio station and was somebody

better than me on there. But then that would have to make me up my ante. And I can up my ante

if there's something like that, you know, you just have to do it. Otherwise, you just might as well

sit there and drone on about how boring life is and how

tough it is and this person should have been allowed to broadcast at the time I'm on. And that's how it

goes. Steve, Uber drivers all pay tax, bank payments only, black cab cash. What do they declare?

40 grand, we're told. 40 grand. It is a cash business, but a lot of the black cabs take cards now, don't they?

I've seen cards and things like that. You can't do prepaid unless you've got an account with

a black cab company. I suppose like Jeff Reasel used to run one of the cab things, and he used to

appear regularly on LBC. And I would think there, I mean, you must be able to open up an account. Companies must have accounts with black cabs, mustn't they? I would think so.

And Kevin the Milkman says, I could moan about the shop selling milk cheaper than I can, so I make sure my service justifies the price difference. Yeah, exactly.

Steve says I once worked in Barking Fire Station, the car park was full of black cabs and builders vans. Oh yes, I mean,
