Welcome to episode 228. I'm Ben McCallery and we are a week into our Great Outdoors experiment for March.

We are. The first experiment of 2018. And it has started off beautifully.

So just enjoyably.

I mean, I knew that this was right up my alley.

But I have been flawed by how much I'm enjoying it, first of all.

And by how much everyone else who's joining us

has been enjoying it. Everyone's pumped on the social media. Really, really excited for it. And I think

it's because, like we were talking about in last week's episode, we understand on a rational,

physical level, how important it is to spend time outdoors.

And we also understand how often we put that aside because of busyness, because of weather,

because of urban living, whatever.

So I feel like this has really cut to the heart of something important to people.

And, you know, the experiment side of it is fun.

Like the challenge side of it is fun and it gets us energized and enthusiastic for a month.

But I really think that there is something here that people are excited to do and to bring

into their lives.
