Only 17% of American churchgoers even know what the Great Commission is anymore.

So you've got to ask yourself two questions with that.

One, what are we talking about in the pulpits if the Great Commission is not at least somewhat regularly understood, taught, and referred to?

Number two is what do most believers in America think that the purpose and the mission of the

church is if it doesn't include the Great Commission?

Well, guys, Andy Bird, my friend, he is an unbelievable leader.

You're going to get to hear from today. We're going to talk about

what God has been doing on earth. He's seen some things. He has seen revival. He also is just

passionate to see the ends of the earth reached with the gospel. And so currently he leads a ministry

called Fire and Fragrance. And he also has

been a major leader behind this end and been in that world for a long time as well. And so,

Andy, let's dive in. First, tell everybody a little bit about your ministry today, Fire and Day.

Yeah, absolutely. So pumped to be on this together. And yeah, we launched Fire and Fragrance

about 18 years ago and as a ministry of Wyam. And that was fully focused on worship,

getting young people into a lifestyle of worship and prayer, like deep devotion to Jesus,

and then connecting that to reaching some of the least reached kind of hardest to reach places

around the world. And so we've been doing that for 18 years, been such a privilege, have sent

long-term communities and long-term missionaries all over the world with that kind of that

value system of deep devotion to Jesus on lifestyle, worship and prayer, tons of prayer in our

communities, and then whatever it takes to reach the least reach. So they're scattered around the

world and they're some of my heroes. And then it was just seven or eight years ago that we launched, in 2019, that we launched

the send with the goal of kind of impacting the body of Christ at large towards activation,
