This historic establishment dates back to 1869 and has witnessed its share of tragedy, including a smallpox outbreak that claim the

lives of many who once sought refuge within its walls. Today, the Humberd continues to serve

travelers, but some of its most poignant guests have never left. The Humbard offers an

eerie blend of hospitality, haunting, and adventure.

I'm excited to talk about the Humberd Historic Bar and Hotel.

Now, this is in Humberd, Wisconsin, which I'm going to guess is a very little town, isn't it?

Very little town. Is it 300? Well, I think with the outer, you know, the outer population, we top

off at around 550, but I think our city center proper is about three something.

It was a bustling city at one point.

It was about 5,000 people back in its heyday.

But yeah, now it's down to about 500 and change.

Isn't that something?

Because a lot of times, you know what changes is there was a train that went through,

which I think might be the case in your town,

that brought in a lot of business.
