Today on the Grave Talks, we continue our conversation with Andy Thomas about his new book, Strange, paranormal realities in the everyday world.

Let's talk for a minute about out-of-body experiences and near-death experiences because they are different, very different experiences.

But like an out-of-body experience, how does that happen?

And can you create that opportunity for it to happen to you?

Can you put yourself in a state that kind of lends itself to an out-of-body experience?

So the answer to that is apparently yes.

What I would say is before you do it, make sure that you get a really good instruction from something that knows what they're doing.

It can be dangerous.

I mean, if you start dabbling in anything like this, you know, there are some perils,

and I would always advise being really sure on what you're doing. I did myself when I was in

like 30s earlier. I just sort of experiment a bit with this. I never lifted up out of my body, but I had the weirdest experience of falling through the bottom of the bed, which I now know is a phenomenon from people that I've spoken to. They call it, I think, falling. So I was doing it the wrong way around and I think, yeah, okay, I'm going to leave that to people that know what they're doing. But there are people, there's a lady called Jade Shaw, for instance, who's quite well known.

She leads whole groups in doing this as another guy.

And this is just a few called Todakamesis or Falcon, as you might find him online.

And they lead whole groups into this, and they do it and they know you know the pitfalls of it.

But yes, in other words, consciousness can exist outside of the body.

That won't be a shock to you, but it does shock some people, especially when it happens to them,

and that is the first paranormal experience they've ever had.

And usually it will happen out of the blue so it either is during sleep

or more commonly under a general anesthetic if you're having an operation now that of course

enables the medical people to say well it's a trick of the brain because of the anesthetic but

there's more than enough evidence that that cannot explain it it It might help free consciousness from the flesh, but that doesn't explain the whole experience.
