You see, how God doesn't use perfect people, but imperfect people, trying to demonstrate to the Jews,

trying to demonstrate to each one of us here individually that the grace of God is sufficient for me to know Jesus Christ.

It's not of works, just any man should boast, but it's all of grace of God.

I am what I am because of the grace of God.

Today's lesson is titled The Grace of God.

In Matthew Chapter 1, here's Roll Rees.

Here we have Matthew writing to a Jewish congregation.

And what he's doing is he's writing about the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

And what he's doing is trying to prove through the genealogies that Jesus Christ is from the house of David.

And of course, Matthew follows the line of Joseph and Luke follows the line of Mary.

And it's pretty cool because what he does is he brings all these names into

activity. And usually what you have to think about is every one of those names was a person

that lived in the past. And at the same time, yet in those 17 verses, you will find the grace

of God tremendously.
