Summary

When we struggle with sins that hold us back in life, God’s grace gives us the power to change. Grace does not just cover up sin, but changes us from the inside and completely washes sin away. However, we must want to change for any transformation to take place; some people would rather simply stay the same. We could talk about changing all day long, but nothing will happen until we take the first step in our transformation. This begins with what we believe. There is a definite connection between our beliefs and our speech; recognizing this helps us make the right confessions that lead to positive change. Using God’s Word to guide us in our thinking and our speaking gives us success.

0:26.6	grace that has been given to all of us it is what we need to be able to see change
0:32.4	in our lives and one of the things that I
0:34.5	begin to see is that as we begin to realize what Jesus has done for us, how he's
0:40.6	made away for us, how he's already done things for us, and I kind of wonder, well, why is it that some people just won't allow grace to change them?
0:50.0	And the answer is because they didn't want to change.
0:53.0	And I begin to hear things a little contrary to what Paul taught,
0:58.0	and that is using grace as a cover-up for your sin or as an excuse for your sin. Basically a person
1:07.8	would live a life of sin and say well after all I'm under grace and and I dispute
1:12.4	that I mean how can you? Paul says how can you continue in sin that
1:17.6	grace may abound or increase in your life and so one of the things that I
1:21.5	realized is that grace doesn't cover
1:24.5	sin it changes you and delivers you from it it changes you. Titus chapter two
1:30.8	begins to talk about how grace will teach you
1:34.0	how to live a sound and a godly life.
1:38.0	But this message is not for us to say,
1:40.0	well, now that I know about Jesus,
1:42.0	because that's what grace is about, now that I know about Jesus because that's what grace is about now
