and what they hope to achieve in this 118th Congress. They have a slim majority and house

speaker Kevin McCarthy will need to keep all his members on board to pass the bills they

want. But what are those bills? For that, let's turn to GOP Congressman Gary Palmer. He

represents Alabama's sixth congressional district. And he's chairman of the House Republican

Policy Committee. He joins me from the Capitol Congressman Palmer. Welcome to on point.

point as the 118th Congress is underway? I'm big for an ask that question again.

Yes are all the committees in the House are they up and running? I'm not sure about the

other committees. I know energy and commerce will be holding hearings next week. I'm not

sure the Democrats have populated all of their committees yet.
