Ever since Donald Trump retook office, he and the Republican Party have been at war with free

and fair elections.

And nowhere has that been more true than in the area of congressional redistricting.

But boy, we just reached an absolute critical moment, an inflection point in that fight.

In fact, I would argue it's the most important point other than

the day that the Clay decision itself came down. That's the case out of Louisiana in which the

Supreme Court gutted the final provisions of the Voting Rights Act that led to this week's long

frenzy that we've been in the middle of. But it may have just come to a head. In a couple of cases,

one out of Alabama, one out of Florida, and perhaps the Republicans standing up to Donald

Trump in a third instance out of South Carolina. So I want to walk through these three,

talk about what they have in common, what's different about them, and why, like I said,

this may actually be the most critical point since the Supreme

Court's decision in Kali. Now, there are going to be a lot more twists and turns in the days and

All right, as I mentioned, you know, we saw this sort of confluence of events in these three states,

Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, all of which involved redistricting and all of which deal with

the question of how states are reacting in the post-Kalai period.

Now, Calais was the Supreme Court decision, a terrible decision. I've already described it as the worst Supreme Court decision of my lifetime.
