So yes, let's do a mental health check in. I have been feeling pretty terrible. I feel a lot better today.

I think that's because it's Tuesday and I'm taking Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off.

So things are looking up. And also I'm excited that I'm finally doing this. That feels good.

And it's so nice to talk to you all. But yeah, I'm coming up on some weird milestones.

So this coming August will be five years at my job, which I, as you all know, do not like very much.

And I know Heather Heverleski would say there's no reason to look at that fact through the lens of shame

and say make up some story about how I am deficient. And that is why I've been there for five years.

But it is difficult to not do that. Yeah, well, especially when you get up into your mid-30s,

it's just, the year is just speed by. And it's really scary to just kind of realize that time will pass.

Time will not wait for you. It will not wait while you are trying to learn how to deal with your issues or relationships or whatever.

It just keeps going. And if it takes you until you're 46 to, you know, get your shift together,

there's really nothing you can do about that. I guess that's not a problem.

But yeah, it's in my department at my job, there have been other people at my age who have come and gone.

They usually stay like 2.5 to 3 years. And then they were like, wow, I don't like this. I'm gonna leave.

And I was like, you know, I don't like this. I'm just gonna stay here for half a decade.
