In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus, who, being in

very nature, God, did not consider equality with God, something to be used to his

own advantage. Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made

in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming

obedient to death, even death on a cross.

Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under

the earth, and every tongue acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father.

Artist Tha Rosenberg published an essay titled The Backup Plan, documenting the unexpected twist

to her plot midway through her high school years.

She was a 16-year-old playing guitar in a local punk band,

delighting in being in the only in crowd in high school

that pretends not to want to be in at all.

And then plot twist won.

She met the Savior she wasn't looking for and had no idea that she needed.

She got to know Jesus first as a musician,

joining the youth group worship band and sitting up late at night in her bedroom,

writing her own worship songs of wonder.

It was also euphoric and captivating until plot twist

too. She noticed one day strumming her guitar this strange stinging wrist pain developing,

an arthritic-like pain that grew and grew quite suddenly until she couldn't hold a pick,

let alone a chord progression.
