Hello and welcome to a slightly unusual episode of Wellness with Liz Earl as this time

0:15.6

it's just you and me and it's been a while since it was just the two of us and I

0:20.5

thought I'd take this opportunity really to share a few personal

0:24.0

thoughts and findings both to celebrate International Women's Day which is around the

0:28.8

time that I'm actually recording this podcast so if you're listening to it as we've

0:32.3

first put it out International

0:33.8

0:39.0

of my 36th book the good menause Guide, published by Orion Spring and already amazingly, riding

1:25.2

allow it but my amazing team and I have to really say big big thank you to

1:29.0

everybody's Orion Spring for making it happen we did actually manage to pull out all the stops and

1:34.3

ta-da here it is and I just felt that International Women's Day was

1:39.5

absolutely the right day to be launching it and to be talking about it because the menopause is something

1:46.5

that so little is talked about and yet it happens to each and every single woman if you live long enough.

1:54.4

And I think what had it really amazed me as a health writer

1:57.4

is looking at the amount of information that there is out there

2:00.7

for pregnancy and childbirth and anti-natal classes and post-natal
