deciders Joe Reed. Hello. Joe thank you for joining us for what is

supposedly the slow season before festival season but it does feel like we have a

lot to talk about this week so yeah they certainly jump-started us yeah so

last week as you heard Richard and I had to run back to the studio for an emergency

session about the new

Oscar category that was announced so we're going to have a longer conversation

about all of that and whether or not the popular Oscar is a good idea but there's a couple

little things to talk about before we get into that. And the most

breaking of news as we record this is the new trailer for Widows that dropped this morning,

the Steve McQueen action revenge drama. Mike, you really wanted to talk about this so it seems like you

have gotten really pumped for widows. I'm pumped but I'm also like I thought

that we were gonna get a totally I don't know why I thought we were going to get a different Steve

McQueen who's going to be like a little more antique and like in a Stephen Soderberg
