seven-year-old sister being raped by two airmen in a Germany warehouse. And, following his

conviction, one of his sisters claimed that Joseph was abused by their father throughout his young life.

Between 1959 and 1960, Joseph attended Mills Junior High School in Rancho, Cordova, California,

and, after attending Folsom High School for a bit, he left school and got his GED in 1964.
