Here in the US, there is a show called The Bachelor, also a show called The Bachelorette.

And put simply, a Bachelor or a Bachelorette is chosen.

And they're given around 30 or so potential suitors for a season to whittle it down to the final one

where there is meant to be ideally an engagement, a happy ending and a happily ever after.

Now this show is old. I used to watch this. Oh my gosh,

maybe when I was 20 years old. It was even streaming in Australia. We're not streaming. That's words we use now. But I used to watch this for years and years and years because it is. Look,

it is a fun show. I think it's an incredible

insight into human behavior. But what's interesting is in the last couple of years, they have

evolved and adapted to a version, almost like a spin-off within the series called the Golden

Bachelor or the Golden Bachelorette. Because typically speaking, the Bachelor or

Bachelorette, they're in their 20s. It is a young person's show. And then you have contestants,

maybe 21, 22, 23, you know, showing up, wanting love. Of course, you can already probably

guess that the success rate isn't very high in terms of long-term

relationship success. But that aside, the point of today's episode is leaning into the

Golden Bachelor and the Golden Bachelorette versions of this show. So I've been watching

The Golden Bachelorette, which is live right now.

The finale is about to hit, I believe, in a week. And there is a stark difference, a very, very apparent

contrast between the contestants, naturally because of ages, right? I'd say there's

probably an average of 40 years between the golden bachelor and bachelorette and the regular

bachelor and bachelorette, which lends itself into one powerful shift, one difference that, oh my, it's impossible to miss and it is so
