I love Christmas. And it's one of those peculiar things

that you can love Christmas without actually knowing who Jesus is or really

having a relationship or connection to him. I feel like for myself, that was really my experience.

I remember the first time I ever heard the Christmas story, Luke chapter 2. It was watching a

Charlie Brown Christmas. and Linus told the

story of Jesus and I think that was the first time I ever heard it. And maybe like some of you, I grew up in a

basically irreligious home and so I didn't have that story as a part of my life for my narrative.

And so when I heard Linus share the story, it was unexpected.
