Do you think violets are blue?

Violets are blue? Violets are they not? Well, they're clearly violet. I always think they're white violets. Can't you get white violets? Well, I don't think they're blue either. No, that's true. Going out on a limb here. Never mind. Let's crack on. We've got a lot to cover and I want to get through it all.

Let's start by talking about the energy markets. They were already in trouble. They were sent into new turmoil overnight.

And Donald Trump has threatened to blow up, nay, massively blow up, the world's largest gas field, if Iran continues to attack Qatar. this morning, yeah, gas prices have gone up

25%. Oil is now $114 a barrel of Brent crude. The Minister for Trade, Chris Bryant, Sir Chris Bryant,

spoke to Times Radio Breakfast. I know a lot of people in the Gulf are very worried about how this

is all going to play out, and we're worried in the UK for energy supplies. Now, we are well supplied. We're not concerned.

We're watching it. We've had a series of meetings between the Chancellor, the Energy Secretary,

the Business Secretary, my officials all talking with all the different parts of the equation,

as it were, that add up to making sure that we've got the energy supplies that we need in the UK.

Matthew, I want to ask you first about the Trump threat to massively blow up a gas field.

Trump says frightening incendiary, no pun intended thing, is not a new story.

But it's something sort of different now when we're at war and when he says it,

he probably means it and is actually going to do it.

How much does it worry you?

Oh, he worries me.
