we heard about the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk just over an hour away from our studio where we had been recording

at Utah Valley University. So obviously we don't discuss this brutal assassination in the episode,

but we wanted to pause here and say that we're praying for Erica, Erica Kirk, for their

children and for all of the family and friends that lost a great husband,

father, and friend. I also wanted to take a moment to say that whoever did this,

whoever did this probably thought that by taking down one of the key leaders in our movement,

that they might stop us, that they might slow us down. And our call to

action to those listening today is don't let that be true. For every one Charlie Kirk that they

gun down in the streets, let there be 10,000 more that rise up courageously to take his place.

As the tired sun faded at the edge of the horizon

and a long day came to a close,

a young husband and wife were going about their late evening routine

in the rural countryside.

The man, Johann, was a self-employed cabinet maker by trade, and in his spare time ran a small rental farm with his wife, Marriandra.
