They write, Dear Tony, I've always been open to the supernatural, though I didn't seek it out.

It seems to find me.

I live in a small town nestled in the area people call gold country. It's beautiful

with rolling hills and old mining towns, but there's something about this place that feels

heavy, like the air itself carries whispers of its history. From the moment I moved into our

house, I felt it, something watching, waiting.

The house itself isn't old, built just over a decade ago, but the land, well, that's another story.
