Well, this semester we're talking about relationships, and specifically we're moving through the four stages that the vast majority of you are going to move through in your 20s.

That is singleness, dating, engaged, and married.

And tonight is about singleness.

All right, farmer's fun.

Okay.

You know the funny thing is they don't cheer like that when you talk about this like in

Houston or Dallas and places like that

It's a little different, but

Let me say this before we jump in people often ask the question when you say I'm gonna address singleness

People say well

I want to know is the guy talking single and I think most of you know the answer for me is no, I'm married, been married for a while.

But here's our hope for this time.

Number one is that the passage of scripture we're about to read and look at was written by the

Apostle Paul and the Apostle Paul was single.

Number two, I spent a good deal of my 20s single. I got married a little later, 28,

and so I had a good run of being a single man and have a lot of experiences and thoughts and

stories from that. And then number three, I've spent most of my ministry and life among young
