Summary

A dyslexia diagnosis can feel overwhelming, especially for the homeschool mom, but take heart! Dyslexia (or any diagnosis for that matter) doesn't have to negatively define you, your child or your homeschooling! Today I am talking with Sarah Brown, homeschooling mom of 15 (yes, you heard me right), several of whom have dyslexia and you will be SO encouraged! I know many of you want to take a more unhurried approach when it comes to homeschooling and never is this approach more beneficial than when your child has learning struggles! 0:16.8	As you all know, I take topic requests from moms, and I have received a lot of requests to talk about dyslexia.
0:25.2	It seems to be something that is getting to be fairly common, and it can be a little bit daunting if you're homeschooling your kids, and you really, maybe you have one or more that's dyslexic, and you're wondering how you're going to walk out this
0:38.8	journey. I have Sarah Brown with me today and I'm going to have her join me in just a minute.
0:45.4	But before I do that, I want to let you all know that I will be speaking in Winston, Salem,
0:53.0	at NCHE, May 29th and and 30th, and also at FPEA in Orlando, May 24th to the 23rd to the 25th, I believe.
1:06.2	So I'm excited about both of those conferences, and I am also excited that at the conference in Orlando, I will be able to meet Sarah.
1:16.4	Sarah and I have talked a couple of times on the podcast and I actually get to see her in real life come they.
