renegotiate Kevin Zitler as he was their best offensive lineman last year. But they just cut

him and saved about $12 million off the cap. Your thoughts? Yeah. Well, you know, Jerry, I got to

be honest, it's not a surprise. Yeah, I thought they would try to approach them to restructure for all we know they might have. Yeah. But it's, look, it's, this is not a surprise. They had it. Joey, all right. Is that, do you see what's going on with the Raiders? The Raiders have released Rishie Incognito. Yeah. Who played well for them last year. Right.

Gabe Jackson, who played well for them last year. Trent Brown, who played an unlimited snaps he had. He was banged up a little bit. Played pretty decent for them. He went over to New England. They whacked up three-fifths of their line, and two of those guards were still playing pretty good. And they're trying to trade their left tackle, no? Yeah. So, no, they traded Trent Brown.

So the point is that these guys are just as good as not better than Zyla.

And they moved on for them because they need some cash space.

They're doing what they have to do to free up cap and whatever. So, yes, Zytler was their best offensive alignment last year, but that doesn't mean he couldn't be released. Okay, so what are we going to do to play? All right, well, there's going to be a lot of one-year type deal guards out there. That's going to be less money. You know?

Yeah.

So why we didn't want to see Zyler leave, am I surprised?

No, not really.

You know, because he's a $12 million cap hit for a pretty decent guard.
