Summary
This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!
Perched high above Eureka Springs, the Crescent Hotel has lived many lives.
Built in 1886 as a luxury resort, the property later served as schools for young women before taking a far darker turn under the ownership of Norman G. Baker. Though he had no medical training, Baker transformed the Crescent into a hospital and claimed to offer miraculous cures for cancer and other illnesses. His treatments eventually led to federal fraud charges, but not before countless patients passed through the building's doors.
Today, the Crescent is known as one of America's most haunted hotels. Guests and staff report apparitions, unexplained voices, shadow figures, and encounters with spirits believed to be tied to the property's long and often tragic history.
From luxury resort to controversial hospital and eventually paranormal destination, the Crescent Hotel has become a place where history and haunting seem impossible to separate. We explore the stories, legends, and lingering spirits that continue to make this iconic Arkansas landmark one of the most talked-about haunted locations in the United States.
