Alright, welcome on to an episode where we're going to continue to talk about the trade

deadline because despite spending more than two hours recording, I still had more things

that I wanted to get to.

More of a historical bent to this one.

The ghosts of trade deadlines passed when I talk about whether this hardened trade actually

worked out okay for the nets, what we thought at the time, how that changed, look back

on the porzinga trade for the maps as well.

And then finally, answer the question of whether this trade deadline was the most exciting

and impactful however you want to classify it, trade deadline ever.

So let's just catch up a little bit on some of the reporting here out of Brooklyn since

the deadline now that we've heard from some of the principals haven't heard from Hardener

Simmons yet of course.

And we do know now that everyone, physicals are all done so that part of the process is

clear now when the players actually start playing for their new teams is an open question

and it is a different question for some of the individuals involved.

Yeah it is and looks like there's a possibility that Curry and Drummond could be available

for Brooklyn's next game.

However we don't really know when Ben Simmons is going to be arriving and it occurred to

me over the weekend as I was thinking about it and I probably should have thought of this

earlier that Ben Simmons obviously is owed at least in his mind $17 million from Philadelphia.

They have withheld his paychecks, understandably so perhaps he has claimed that he is mentally

unable to play that's going to go to an arbitration and the standard there is whether

...
