I got a little night before Christmas type of field today only a couple of small trades

So we can't catch up on news and they talked some about Wednesday nights games

But let's first get into the two trades that did occur

We've kind of seen this pattern in a few years recently where Tuesday actually get some big moves

You get some other big moves in the days before the deadline then Wednesday all the moves that are gonna happen Thursday

The teams are still trying to haggle those out. So what we got here Danny

We'll start with the more consequential one and it's a three team trade

San Antonio involved in their second in season trade in the same season that hasn't happened in a long time

But the principal team here for me is the Utah Jazz the Jazz sending out Joe Ingles sending out Elijah Hughes and two second round picks

One to each of the other teams involved receiving Nikkeel Alexander Walker and Wancho Hernandez

The San Antonio Spurs are sending out Hernandez bringing back Satteranski and getting that Utah

2027s second for their troubles then the Blazers sending out Alexander Walker and Satteranski who they acquired in the

Seagymacolum deal and then

Receiving Joe Ingles who is of course hurt Elijah Hughes and Memphis's

2022 second for me the reason why the Jazz as places start is a they traded the largest player of consequence

But also what they did in this deal so they Joe Ingles was the most logical the far from their only vessel to

Upgrade talent wise and so the idea of Ingles plus maybe some matching salary and plus like a first or something to get a

A real difference maker and instead Ingles salary they used it to bring in

Heron and Gomez and Nikkeel Alexander Walker

Which is a pragmatic move because it saves them some tax and you know, there's some potential upside there

But also not the big swing that would have been more exciting. So I didn't want to interrupt you for once

But I actually held back, but I do actually I'm not sure that this is the most consequential deal of the day
