Today on the Grave Talks, we continue our conversation with Andrew Coon about the ghosts of Charleston's Old City Jail.

You've spent a lot of time at Old City Jail, I'm going to guess.

Do you think her spirit is still there at the jail?

I do. I have been there for 10 years or so now of giving tours at the jail.

And yes, there are differing beliefs of when it comes to the jail about what might be haunting the building or who's in there.

But I 100% believe she's

there. We have had too much happen. We had not long around the time that I was starting. First

of all, I'll preface that I believe that kids see things that we cannot, right? So like, especially

the younger they are. And there was a

girl with her mom and the girl was, I don't know, maybe four or five, six years old. But she went

into the building and the room that we believe that Levinia was held in, part of the floor had like collapsed. So like

there was a, there was literally a like a railing that we had to put in to prevent people from

falling into this hole. This woman came in with her daughter and they're standing there

and the girl started to get kind of uncomfortable and her mom picked

her up and you know it's just holding her and so you know the daughter's looking over mom's shoulder

and out loud as we're telling the story the girl says mommy there's a woman in the corner

and she's looking where there's the hole like there's no one that can possibly physically be standing there because there's a woman in the corner and she's looking where there's the hole. Like there's no one that can possibly physically be standing there because there's a hole in the

ground.

And the girl just kept getting like started to get very, very much more uncomfortable.

And she goes, mommy, that woman's still in the corner and she's not very nice.

We believe that she is there.
