This episode alone is one to remember a tale of the life and death of one of America's top

pin-up girls who died in a horrible and violent death, not in Hollywood, but on a lonely highway

near Biloxi, Mississippi. It's a story that has a little bit of everything, a brainy beauty,

publicity stunts, a mysterious death, a satanic curse, a haunted house, and well, I'll be honest

with you, boobs. So hang on tight, it's going to be a wild ride.

She was born Vera Jane Palmer in Brynmar, Pennsylvania on April 19th of 1933. When she was only

three years older, Father Herbert died of a heart attack while driving, with his wife and daughter

in the car. Luckily, they walked away without a scratch. After his death, her mother, also named Vera,

worked as a schoolteacher, and in 1939 she remarried in the family moved to Dallas, Texas.

Her daughter, who went by the name Jane, had a great passion in life. She wanted to be an actress.
