Summary

We discuss a very popular urban legend in San Antonio that revolves around a train crossing at which, according to the legend, an horrific train /school bus accident took place in the late 30's. The legend implies that the ghosts of the school children who died there will push your car off the tracks to safety when you leave your vehicle on the tracks in neutral. 1:00.0	We're headed for Texas so dust up that Stetson and that's head for the Southwest
1:04.0	corner of the Lone Star State specifically San Antonio.
1:09.0	Just south of San Antonio near the San Juan Mission you'll hit the intersection
1:14.0	of Shane and Villamaine and there on Shane Road you'll find the real road
1:19.0	tracks that are key to this story.
1:22.0	They look like any other real road tracks except that this crossing people
1:26.0	have been saying is haunted.
1:29.0	This real road crossing they say has a history in fact the crossing has
1:33.0	become a notorious urban legend based upon a real accident that took place
1:37.0	back in the 1930s.
1:39.0	I posted the San Antonio newspaper headline over at our one thousand one heroes
1:44.0	Facebook site.
1:46.0	The newspaper is the San Antonio Express.
1:49.0	It's dated December 2nd 1938 the day after the actual accident and the
1:54.0	headline reads, bus train death toll could go as high as 30.
