June 5th, uh, June 5th, uh, 2024, that means tomorrow is June 6th, 2024, the 80th anniversary of the

greatest land invasion, the greatest act of courage that man has ever seen.

They stormed the beaches in Normandy, they saved the world.

They defeated Nazi Germany, eventually, and we are all benefit we all benefit from that to this day

so big ceremonies about to take place in France at Normandy. A group of veterans from the US, this has happened every year,

but it's not going to happen much longer. A group of about 50 World War II veterans,

at least 25 of whom stormed the beaches were there at

Normandy, have made the trip over to Paris from the U.S. It's inspiring and sad at the same time.

They're old.

I mean, most of them are over a hundred now.

They're in wheelchairs.

They have walkers.

They're not going to be around much longer.

And then there's one of them, I have to say, he's not in a wheelchair yet.

He looks pretty spry for 100.

He came down. Actually, he went on Air Force One and now he's

shuffling around Paris. He got to Paris. He called a lid. No more

appearances for the day. He has the nap. But Joe Biden tomorrow will appear

with 50 World War II vets and this is the sad state we're in as a country.

It's going to be hard to tell the difference.

He's with his contemporaries.
