Some cases are doomed to remain unsolved because of a number of reasons.

On December 26, 1898, three members of a family were brutally slain in a crime that, due in large

part to the police themselves, remains unsolved even today. So if you like your coffee hot,

In the year 1898, the village of Gatton, located in southeast Queensland, Australia, was the home

to about 5 to 600 residents. A major stopover point on the road from Brisbane to Darling Downs,

12 of those residents, living

just eight miles from the village, was the Murphy family who owned a farm at Blackfellow's

Creek and consisted of a mother, father, and 10 children. Two of those children, not quite

children anymore, were Michael and Daniel Murphy, who both moved out of the home with Daniel working as a police constable and Michael working on a government experimental farm near Westbrook.
