money to get by to go surfing every day because he was a mad surfer and just that he really wanted to

get his life back on track. And I genuinely believed that.

This is Beck Rosen, a mother of three boys. She lives in the coastal hamlet of Bluey's Beach,

300 kilometres north of Sydney. Picture summer bay from TV's home in a way.

It's an area called the Great Lakes. Outside school holidays, it's a sleepy place of

tradeys and tinnies. Beck's family is owned a holiday house here since the 80s.

It's where she spent blissful childhood summers. She'd been living in Singapore when her marriage
