Well, hi there everybody. Welcome to the latest edition of the Gary Neville podcast. We are

privileged to be talking to you at the end of a classic London Derby, Gary, the two-two between

Arsenal and Chelsea. So let's start there. We've got so much to talk about, so much has

happened over the holiday period. But sum up this night at the Emirates.

I was really happy with the first half at Neil-Nill.

I thought it was a fantastic game where we thought before the game

there would be problems for Arsenal defensively,

but they didn't defend terribly.

The quality of the attacking was fantastic tonight.

It really was.

Some of the attacking play, the combination, the composure,

the finishing from Marata maybe stands out

for Chelsea as being a missed opportunity. That would be the potentially headlines in the morning,

along with maybe Jack Wilshund. They send off, but this was a really fantastic game. It really

was. And I enjoyed it from start to finish. I thought that the quality was really good.

We talked a lot in this last 18 months about the attitude

of Erzal and Sanchez about whether they're committed, whether they're passionate. And tonight,

I have to say, wonderful, both of them. You know, you cannot question. We talk off enough and

criticize them when they're not at it. They were at it tonight. And even Lacazette, I think,

will be disappointed that he's gone off.

The movement's really good, and it's just not quite happening for him,

but he keeps doing those things.
