Welcome to you all to a very special Gary Neville podcast because despite the bitter cold

and I've got Gary alongside me leaping up and down

to try and stay warm. We've had a match metaphorically at least as warmed everybody here at

Anfield today. Yeah and I think coming to this ground today this morning you just knew it was going to be

good. You knew that the big goals both teams are wired that way in terms of the managers, how they set up.

There was also a sentiment before the game that if Manchester City were going to lose,

if they were going to get disrupted, that this could be the ground, this could be the team that

were most suited to do it. And it proved to be that way during the game. I have to say, Liverpool,

their performance in the first half was really, really good.

In fact, they scored three goals in the second half,

but I think their first half performance was better than the second.

But we've seen a magnificent match.

We really have.

I think that wonderful goals, wonderful finishes, a great atmosphere.
