And welcome to another episode of Bukari Sellers podcast. Well, you know, we always try to make

0:18.2

sure that we bring smart people to you. Smarter than me, people who can tell you about what's going on in the world and make sense of what is silly season.

0:25.7

Actually, this is a pretty calm season because we are now done with the election, but everybody's not looking ahead to what Congress is and all of those other things.

0:36.1

And as I've said many times before, America always

0:38.3

gets what she deserves. And so we'll have to see what the next two years, four years hold. And to

0:42.9

help us dissect all of that, we have, Ursula Pirano. How are you today?

0:48.5

Thanks for having me on. Oh, man. Thank you so much. So my show is kind of unique in that we

1:29.6

And Tallahassee is a mess.

1:32.5

Tallahassee is a lot, for sure, and especially Florida politics is always just wild.

1:39.7

So definitely fell in love with it there, came straight out of school two weeks after I graduated to Axios.

1:45.2

It was a very fast-paced environment.

1:47.8

It was in Axios' earlier days where everything, I think, was even scrappier.

1:52.2

And that just really started to roll more and more.

1:56.3

Daily Beast was great.

1:57.1

Got some campaigns and Congress experience in.

1:59.5

And then I've been at Politico for about a

2:01.6

year and a half now, and specifically covering the Senate, but Congress were at large. And, you know,
