Out of 1 Corinthians 2, Pastor Erwin explains that we can have access to the story God is telling because we have the Spirit of God inside of us. In our connection to God, we are able to create history the way God intended: a history filled with hope, joy and imagination.

God gives us access to the eternal story he is writing into history in the present moment. Though we can feel limited by our circumstances, we are not trapped in time and space. We have access to the mind of God, who is eternal. Our lives are meant to be a portal between the present moment and the beautiful story that God is telling through us.

0:59.6	always been about the future and I always cut off guard how how awkward our
1:06.0	relationship with the future has been as followers of Jesus because we don't
1:11.5	mind the word history but we're really awkward with the word future. I would
1:16.8	hear people say let's change history and I would think to myself it's the only
1:21.2	thing you can't change because history is history and you can't change history
1:26.9	and Christians are are fine with that changing history but we're not okay with
1:30.1	creating the future. I think once I was this huge festival in Northern
1:34.5	California, 30,000 people who were just celebrating who Jesus was and
1:40.7	worshipping and then I heard the guy in the bands and let's make history which
1:46.1	is a great declaration but it's an everybody cheered that if he had said let's
1:51.6	create the future everybody said no we can't do that but how do you make history
