We live in a world of parking lots and garages, delivery vehicles, drive-thrusors, and all the markings and devices used to manage pedestrian and

vehicular traffic. We use our cars for long road trips and short hops to the

dry cleaners. Our cars are school buses, mobile offices, and even the occasional dining room.

Many of us even choose where to live based on how convenient it is to drive to our jobs or other destinations.

That world I've just described is based on two simple things,

and that we're in control of it all the time.

We've already looked at what happens to the car itself and its industry when that changes,
