do you remember my astrology freestyle? That was so fun to make. And I thought it always sounded so good because at the time I lived in this loft in Denver, Colorado, with like 17-foot ceiling.

So it always sounded like I was in a stadium.

And I was just truly living my sad dream of being a rapper.

And yeah, it was awesome.

And every week, you know, this is before Lightworkers Lounge had more than 20 downloads an episode, those being my family.

But I looked forward to it. and I was so excited every week to

come up with a new freestyle or sing a new song in the beginning. And it lit me up. And I think that was a

huge reason why Lightworkers Lounge took off the way it did is because it was something I loved,

genuinely, authentically loved. And that is the key for success if you're listening to this.

And you want to have your own podcast or your own blog or Instagram one day is,

ask yourself, would I do this if I didn't get paid for it?

Would I still say these things, post these things, create these things if only one person liked it?

And my answer was always, fuck, yes. I loved it. But I kind of

lost that side of me because shortly after I went through my divorce and my first Saturn return,

and I laugh about it now lightheartedly, but it was tough. And with my Scorpio moon,

I really clam up when I go through hard times. I just want to hide

away and my creativity wanes and I just want to sit and sulk in darkness and process and

reemerge and turn that pain into creativity, which I am now. But back then, I just kind of fell

off the wagon with it. I wasn't the free-spirited
